MMA Chronicles Giorgio Lee.png

Giorgio Lee

Hey there! My name is Giorgio Lee and I’m a 22 year-old kid from the mean streets of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I’m a recent graduate of Centennial College’s 3-year journalism program and proud of it. I’ve covered a variety of cool events such as the 2017 International Women’s March in Washington D.C. and the 2017 Invictus Games. I also work as a background actor, which has been very fulfilling and fun to say the least. As you can see I enjoy doing a variety of things that interest me. Sure it’s hard work, but I enjoy the grind as a journalist and actor. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Anyways I’m off writing more stories. Hope you enjoy them.

Caleb Lima

Hi, my name is Caleb Lima and I grew up in the small town of St. Catharines in Ontario, Canada. As of 2019, I will be studying Journalism at Ryerson University. I have always had a profound passion for sports writing, and because of this, I created a news website along with multiple social media platforms to cover everything sports-related. My distinct passion for Mixed Martial Arts was formed as a young kid watching Anderson Silva beautifully front kick Vitor Belfort and has continued steadily to this day. I hope to work as a professional in the industry once I graduate and continue bringing reliable news and thoughtful analysis.

MMA Chronicles Charlie Ricottone.png

charlie Ricottone

I’ve dabbled in writing for years. In early 2017, a much-needed major shift in my life drove me toward pursuing my passion. Now working full time as a content writer for a medium sized business and freelance writer for various publications from music to sports, I have submerged myself in the world of writing. Having been a fan of MMA since UFC 1, I have developed my own commentary on the sport as an entity and the individual fights therein. I look forward to sharing my perspective with the readers of MMA Chronicles.

Bennett West

Sports have always surrounded my life. I grew up playing competitive hockey, and casually playing tennis in the quiet town of Waterloo. Since then I have graduated from George Brown College for Special Events Management in hopes of getting involved in sporting or music related events. My obsession with the UFC/MMA began roughly 5 years ago, so in no way am I a veteran, but more like an addicted amateur with a passion for sport and the stories aligned within. After all it's the stories, and the details behind the fighters that create intriguing narratives, and sell fights. I look forward to building my collection of stories and I hope you enjoy them as much as I will be writing them.

Kyle Douglas

Sports has always been the focus in my life since I was 5 years old, and even now at 24. I started off playing hockey and swimming competitively in Montreal, and continued and finished my athletic career at a NCAA Division 1 level in Florida. My love for the Mixed Martial Arts industry began with GSP fights whenever my dad would throw the TV channel "Spike" on, and has only grown since. As a journalist and reporter I love talking and writing about anything in the industry as long as it's interesting, but sports seems to be my preference. I love the community and culture behind the MMA scene as a whole, and can’t wait to cover more stories and fighters that make that culture what it is.
